Letter writing
Turn your climate concerns into climate actions, by putting pressure on our MPs and getting some action in parliament!
Why write letters?
Letters to MPs are taken very seriously – and counted! For everyone who takes the time to raise an issue with them, they know there are many more people who feel the same way. If they receive lots of correspondence on a particular issue, it will be discussed in policy meetings and can have an effect on decision-making.
Letters to the Editor of a newspaper or online media are a powerful tool. They can reach a large audience, raise awareness and stimulate community conversation about issues. Letters to the Editor also allow us to engage with MPs and policy makers in an indirect way.
